Reflecting On 2021

As we head towards January, we can't help but reflect on how crazy this year was with the global pandemic, social unrest, and political changes. Thus, I had Silvia, Daniel, Facundo, and Jill respond to prompts:

Silvia

1 What is your role at LUHV Food? I am the Founder and CEO of LUHV FOOD, so I am responsible for managing LUHV’s overall operations and forging the vision of the company.

2 What is the most unexpected thing you became grateful for during COVID? I was grateful for the time I was able to spend with my daughter Julietta during that confinement period. I loved to be able to continuing working from home and having more time to walk in between meetings.

3 What was the most frustrating thing about COVID for you? I was not able to hug and kiss people, which created a hole in my natural disposition. I eventually ended up embracing my dog to no end. She still wants the squeezing and loving everyday.

4 What is a hobby or skill you picked up during COVID? My computer and digital communication skills were definitely developed.  Also, Mindfulness Meditation gave me tools to help with the anxiety during those times.

5 What is a new TV show or movie you got into during COVID? I loved series like I know This Much is True, The Sinner, The Outsider and my ultimate binge was starting and finishing Schitt’s Creek during the depth of the pandemic.

6 What was your favorite culinary creation during COVID? Having my husband Daniel cooking at home was my paradise. I felt I was in a fine cuisine restaurant every day.

7 What are you most looking forward do during the Holiday season? I can’t wait to spend time with the family and partake in the Lucci’s Christmas scavenger hunt. Now that everyone is all grown up and dispersed, having them close is the best feeling!

8 Are there any goals you’d like to achieve before the end of the year? Professionally, it would be the opening of our third location in Philadelphia, now that we just open our new factory. Personally, it would be allocating more personal time to relaxing, exercise and running.
