Maggie Baird (mom to pop stars Billie Eilish & FINNEAS) started Support +Feed, a food initiative aimed to help both vegan restaurants & community members in need in response to COVID-19. Support + Feed has spread from LA to NYC, DC, & Philly! We’re proud to be joined by Charlie Was a Sinner, Bar Bómbon, Hip City Veg, & The Greyhound Café as Philly Support + Feed Partners! In this CBS This Morning’s Instagram post, Baird describes her passion for veganism & how she came up with the idea of Support + Feed.

Here at LUHV Food, we stand with #BLM. Philly Magazine states, “Only 2.5% of Philly businesses are Black-Owned despite Black people making up 43% of Philly’s population.” Through our LUHV Black-Owned Business initiative, every $5000 we raise will go to a local Black-owned business that strengthens their community, so nominate a business below! Here at LUHV, we believe we can change the world. Veganism & environmentalism go hand-in-hand! On April 10th in conjunction with Philadelphia Streets Department, our team swept, raked, & picked up garbage for five blocks near Hunting Park. Find an opportunity for you to volunteer here.
