ABOUT US

LUHV is an immigrant family-run manufacturing company of vegan and gluten-free food. Our family suffered tremendous health and financial stresses in 2012, and veganism transformed our lives. After our customers at our Restaurant in Newtown, PA, started enjoying the healthy foods my husband created for me, they insisted that they wanted to purchase them.

My husband had LUHV me to health. In 2015, we manually produced our first couple of vegan products. In 2016, due to demand, we opened a new facility in Hatboro, PA.

By 2017, with the staggering response of our customers, we open a retail space in our factory.

In 2021, we opened a 6,000 sqft factory that allowed us to expand our production fifty times, and we opened two new locations. The support from our community is still overwhelming. Our commitment to our customers is to mainstream healthy and nutritious food that tastes delicious.

Our community's positive support and reviews have been outstanding, which led us to receive the Philadelphia Food and Farm Festival People's Choice Award in 2017 and immediately taken by Whole Foods Markets and becoming the face of their "Love local campaign."

LUHV Foods has been in demand from communities all over the area, requesting more stores to open and more markets to get it.

In 2018, we opened the first Vegan Deli at the Reading Terminal Market in Philadelphia with great reviews. In 2019, Philadelphia magazine awarded us "Best of Philly" for Best Vegan Lunch, Best Vegan Burger by The Vegan Society (The oldest vegan society in the world,) and received the "Minority Business Leader Award" from the Philadelphia Business Journal! We were awarded "Business of the Year" from The Philadelphia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and top entrepreneur by AL DIA. See other awards and recognitions.

“We understand eating vegan is not easy for most people, but we believe that if we want to change the world by how we eat, we need to make food people crave and can afford. Health should not be the privilege of wealth nor an unsatisfying compromise.”

The Lucci family is now known to be a vegan Brady Bunch, but that wasn’t always the case! In fact, Silvia and Daniel grew up in Argentina eating lots of meat! Read “The Luccis Go Vegan” Blog Post here.
